Hate

The monsters in literature that stick with us through the decades are not the ones that come purely from imagination. The monsters that we write about, think about, and make movies about most are either the monsters that we create or the monsters we become. We are afraid of the part of ourselves that is most like the monsters we fear.

One example that supports this idea would be hate. Hate is a monster we fear because he/she/it represents the part of ourselves that dilikes or is disliked by other people.

For a long time people have learned to hate and be hated by others. It is usually the same reason for both sides. People might hate you for being stupid, ugly, a different race, etc. You may also hate them because of reasons like that. Hate is where you absolutly dislike a person or a thing. You are mostlikely meen and hateful to that person. You hert there fealings and can sometimes physically hurt them because you don't like them.

The fear of being hated by others is sad because I don't think being disliked by someone is a bid deal. But so many of us are afraid of it because we want people tolike us. So say someone is being bullied at school, they are afriad of the person that is bullying them. It could be so bad that they don't come to school or even kill themselves. This is because they are afraid of being physicaly abused or made fun of for some reason. One main reason people are afriad of this kind of thing is if it is happening to the they are afriad that they will get hurt worse if they tell someone. They might tell someone but that person doesn't believe them or just doesn't want to help them for some reason.

From this fear of hate we can learn from it because we no want kind of things happen. We have known someone this has happend to or have herd about it so you have knowledge of the situation. So if we have a basic idea of why someone dosn't llike you and hurts or says hateful things to you, we can atleast try to do something about it. Fight back, makeit so they don't want to mess with you anymore. Tell them off, get help from anyone you can. Fight them to make it seem like your not afraid of them. You never know you might win and they will leave you alone. Oh and I am not encouraging that you fight only under certain sercomestances.

So we fear hate because it makes you left out of everything so you either don';t have friends, you are picked on, or actually hurt. We can learn frm others problems and misstakes and use it in our lives to make them better. We can do alot of things to get rid of the fear of hate we just need to apply it.

Why you should be scared of Dr. F

I think that we should be more scared of the doctor who created the monster because he has the ability to create more of them. The monster isn't really a mean creature he just wants to be loved. Since no one will he hurts the doctors family and friends.

The doctor should never have created the monster because he abandoned him. So why would you not be scared of a person who can create big monsters and lets them terrorize everyone. Especially ones that are really strong and are or can become educated. That is why you should be scared of Doctor Frankenstein.

My Hero

I do not really have one hero. I think everyone is my hero. The reason that I think that everyone is my hero is because you can learn anything from them.

If you pay attention to life you can find a lot of things that can help you and interest you. For example Niel Armstrong is one of my heroes because he was the first man to walk on the moon. Everyone i meet is my hero because you always learn something from them. My teachers are heroes to me because they are helping me learn what I need to know so I can goto college and live a good and happy life.

My friends are my heroes because they help you through problems. Depending on who your friends are or how many you have, they have had the same experience and can help you with it. If someone has made a mistake that you know you could make, they can help you learn how to avoid that problem. For example your parents. I can pretty much guarantee that they have had some of the experiences that you are going through or had.

I think that if people only have one hero they need to learn about new ones. It's okay to still really like the hero that you have liked for a long time, but if you look at the little things that people do, like saving someone from getting hit by a car, that happens all the time everyday. So I think everyone should pay attention to toughs little things and not just the big things that everyone knows about.

The Four Seasons

Poseidon was sitting on his throne turning all of his servants into fish because he was extremely mad at them, for they had not done anything right. Since he was so angry, massive tsunamis, typhoons, and hurricanes started to form and they devastated the world.

Until one day he fell in love with one of his servants. She was the most beautiful, gentle, and loving women he had ever seen. Her name was Season. Poseidon and Season had four children together, Summerious, Autumnious, Winterious, and Spring.

Summerious is the oldest of the children. He was born with one bad eye, therefore he wears a patch on his left eye.He has a bright personality and is very wise. Summerious caries a Bow made of Ivory and a shield made of Gold.

Autumnious is the second oldest. He has red long wavy hair and eyes as dark as Cole. Autumnious is very strong and could kill someone with his small finger. He has wings of a dragon that are silver and gold, and is able to fly around the world in three seconds.

Winterious is the youngest brother. He is reckless and only cares about himself. But he is brave and is not afraid of anyone or anything. Winterious has a scepter made of ice that can not break, and a hood on his cape that makes him invisible.

Spring is the baby sister. She has long blond hair and eyes so blue they sparkle like the ocean. She is so full of life she loves all who are around her.

When the children were young, they were the best of friends. They lived in the most beautiful place in the world. You could see flowers as far as the eye could see. The rain was so soft that it was mist in the gentle air. The lands were always green and full of life. The waters sparkled liked the most gorgeous of gems.

One day Summerious and Winterious got into a argument over the land and who was in charge of the mortals. Summerious thought the mortals should be in charge of themselves and Winterious thought they should be told what to do. So Winterious took his scepter and struck the ground. Summerious asked Winterious "What are you doing?" Winterious responded " I am freezing the surface of the earth." "Why are you freezing the earth?" "Because I am superior and do not believe the mortals should exist." "Leave the mortals alone." Summerious said but Winterious did not listen. So Summerious took his bow and and shot the sun. This caused the sun to release severe heat waves. Then then all of the ice that now covered the earth was then melted away. Then Autumnious and Spring went to tell their father of their fighting. This made Poseidon very upset. The calm and mighty Poseidon took his Triton and struck the ground. This caused the earth to shake with suck great force that it knocked down villages killed several thousand people.

This caused the lands to change and new mountains to form. Season was very upset to hear of the destruction in which Poseidon had caused. But Poseidon did not care and thought he should teach his children a lesson.

Summerious tried to help the mortals by changing the weather and making it hot, so they could work to put their villages back together. But Winterious thought the mortals should be wiped off the face of the earth. So Winterious made it cold, snowy, and icy. The drastic change in weather caused lack of supplies and food. This caused war throughout the world. The wars lasted for several hundred years, and the weather was hot one day and cold the next.

Autumnious and Spring tried to talk to their brothers, but this just made them more upset and the weather got even weirder. Instead of it being hot or cold it was also warm and cool. On days it was cold it would snow and ice would cover the world. On days it was cool the wind would blow , the leaves would fall and in the mornings there would be frost on the ground. Then it was hot you could only cool off in the shade, and on days it was warm the flowers would bloom and the temperature was almost perfect.

This caused floods and famine throughout the world. Autumnious and Spring did not know what to do. They thought the mortals of the world had suffered enough. so they decided to tell their mom and not their dad for they did not want the earth to quake or have any more destruction in the world.

When Season found out she was so upset at her children that she began to cry. Then she went to Winterious and Summerious and asked them"Why are you causing such drastic changes in the weather? I am afraid your father is going t be very mad at you two." Winterious told his mom "This is none of your business and we can handle it our selves." This made their mother even more upset and made the earth and the seas freeze over from all her tears.

When Poseidon asked Season what was going on she would not tel him. This made Poseidon furious. He was so angry that his own wife and would not tell him what was going on that he struck the ground so hard the earth opened and swallowed her. Then the earth shook, the seas were rough and the storms got so strong that no mortal survive outside.

Autumnious and Spring tried to reason with their father begging him to stop, but he would not listen. Then Summerious and Winterious went to their father and asked for his forgiveness. He calmed down, the seas were calm again, the earth stopped quaking, and the storms stopped.

After a while Poseidon talked to his children and said "I am extremely disappointed in your behaviors. I have lost my wife and the fighting will end now. Out of respect for your mother, I will allow you each three months a year in which you can do want with the weather. But the weather has to stay the same for the whole three months. To also honor your mother we will name the cycle "The Seasons."

When they heard their fathers decision they were all unhappy but they agreed they would do it for their mother. Winterious makes the earth cold and icy. Spring makes it beautiful, warm and full of life. Summerious makes the weather hot and bright. And Autumnious brings cool winds with leaves blowing all around. On occasion Summerious and Winterious will still fight, and when they do Poseidon will have to step in ant the earth will quake.
